1. TERMS OF SERVICE

The following terms and conditions shall govern the sale by thebanneret.com and the buyer. By placing orders with thebanneret.com, it is deemed that you have read, understood, and agreed to our Terms & Conditions. If you find any subject in the Terms & Conditions not acceptable, please do not enter this website or contact The Banneret before placing your order.

2. PRICES

All prices are retail prices and are stated in Euros (€). Prices, unless stated, do not include taxes, duties, import fees charged by your local government, service, payment, or delivery charges depending on the country. We retain the right to adjust the prices at any items that are incorrectly priced without prior notice. As customs policies vary by country, we cannot anticipate what these charges will be, and therefore The Banneret will not be responsible for any taxes, duties, import fees or custom fees levied once the purchased The Banneret products reach your country.

3. PAYMENT

We accept most major credit cards, debit cards, or PayPal.

The Banneret encrypts all your card information via Stripe and PayPal Payments using the so-called SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. This means that no unauthorized persons will be able to view your card number or other information during the transaction. To keep a high level of security for our customers, we may request further correspondence from the purchaser if we suspect a fraudulent order.

4. DELIVERY

All orders are shipped with DHL. When your order leaves our warehouse you will receive a tracking number via e-mail for you to track your order on http://www.dhl.com. All delivery times are estimated and listed on the delivery tab of the product page.

5. DELIVERY TIME & CHARGES

Timely delivery is based on the condition that the courier (DHL) keeps day-to-day delivery schedules. Although rare, The Banneret will not be held responsible for delays with the couriers. All delivery estimates are based upon working/business days. The Banneret covers all import duties/taxes so there will be nothing to pay when the goods land. 

6. STOCK

All products found on thebanneret.com are currently in stock unless the product is marked as ‘Out of Stock’. If you are interested in ordering an ‘Out of Stock’ item please click the button and enter your email and you’ll be automatically informed when the line is back in stock. We reserve the right to cancel a delivery and/or order if the stock quantity and/or price was incorrect at the moment of placing the order. If we are unable to deliver in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the order, we will contact you and give you the opportunity to cancel the order.

7. COLOR OF PRODUCTS & MATERIALS

The colors of products seen on thebanneret.com will depend on the monitor from which they are viewed. Therefore, the color seen on the monitor can vary from the accurate color of the product. Please note that we have tried as accurately as possible to display the colors of the textile, lining, leather, etc. as well as the tactility of all materials used. Please note that all The Banneret products are made of natural leather and textiles of the highest quality. We would like to point out that vegetable-tanned leather is a natural product and therefore can vary in color and structure slightly from product to product and from collection to collection. These minor variations in products should be viewed as a unique characteristic and not as a fault. Please be aware that natural and coated fabrics used in dark or very strong colors may be subject to the transference of color through rubbing, and the use of these products should be used with caution when in contact with light colors. All textiles have been given a water repellent treatment in the form of Teflon, but are not fully water-resistant and this coating gets less effective with age. Note that all leathers are sensitive to rain and other wet spots so heavy rainfall should be avoided.

8. CABIN BAGGAGE ALLOWANCES

It is essential that you check the baggage allowances permitted by your carrier, as these may vary from time to time and between carriers. The fact that a piece of luggage complies with IATA cabin baggage guidelines does not guarantee that it will be accepted by every carrier as a carry-on bag. It also depends on how much you pack into the bag so do not over-pack to avoid issues.

9. SIZES

All sizes on any product viewed on thebanneret.com are external sizes measured in cm.

10. FORCE MAJEURE

We have the right to assert force majeure in the event of strike, lockout, blockade, war, warlike event, civil war, revolution, government sanction, strike, blockade, natural disaster, or the like. This means that the agreement will not need to be fulfilled in part or in full. Should this, contrary to expectation, occur, we would attempt to notify you.

11. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

All products purchased from thebanneret.com have a 30-day return period from the date received by the customer. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase, simply return the goods in their original packaging and condition. Only after the returned items have been received and approved by The Banneret will the amount of the purchase price be refunded to the purchaser’s account. Return shipping costs are paid by The Banneret as long as the item is unused with the retail tags. If the item is coming back due to a manufacturing default or repair deemed to be due to one then The Banneret will pay for return (24 months from purchase only).

12. RIGHT TO COMPLAINT

The Banneret provides a two year right to complaint according to the Sale of Goods Act covering defect manufacture and materials registered during normal use of the item. The right to complaint does not cover defects, damages, or wear and tear, resulting directly or indirectly from wrongful use, bad maintenance, violence, or unauthorized operations. Complaints regarding defects or faults discovered during normal examination of the item must be communicated to The Banneret within a 30 day period. Subsequently, items may be returned for one of the following: repair, exchange, or if agreed upon, reimbursement.

13. CLAIMS & RETURN OF GOODS

Procedure:

You may return any The Banneret item for a full refund within 30 days of the date you receive your order, provided the product is not used or worn in any way. We arrange and pay for the return shipping costs and use DHL for these services.

At our sole discretion, The Banneret reserves the right to refuse the return or exchange of any merchandise that does not meet our requirements.
